Write a one-page strategy with:
**The situation.** Where we are and what's changed, in four sentences. No history lesson.
**The customer and the problem.** Who specifically, and the problem worth solving for them. If {{customers}} is broad, narrow it — a strategy that serves everyone directs nothing.
**The insight.** What we believe that isn't obvious, and what it implies we should do. This is the load-bearing part; if {{insight}} is really just a generic observation, tell me so.
**The bet.** What we're doing over {{timeframe}}, stated as a small number of choices, not a feature list.
**What we're not doing.** From {{options}}, the things we're explicitly declining and the reason for each. A strategy without visible sacrifice isn't one.
**How we'll know.** The outcomes that indicate this is working, and the leading indicators visible before the lagging ones move.
**What would make us change course.** The evidence that should cause us to abandon this.
Rules: no vision-statement language, nothing that would read identically for a competitor, and every claim traceable to {{insight}} or {{customers}}. Then list the three assumptions this strategy depends on that we have the least evidence for, and the cheapest way to test each.
