Plan for a Substitute Teacher

    Help me write plans a substitute teacher can actually follow.

Please write sub plans that are **self-contained** — a sub who doesn't know my class could run them:
- A quick **orientation**: the schedule, key routines, and how to start each period.
- **Step-by-step instructions** for the lesson or activities, with timing, so there's no guesswork — plus what students should produce.
- A **backup / early-finisher** activity in case things run short.
- The practical basics: how to take attendance, expected behavior norms, what to do if there's a problem, and how to leave notes for me on how it went.

Keep the academic work meaningful, not just busywork, and realistic for a sub to manage without my background knowledge. Only include the class info I gave you — don't invent procedures or student specifics. If I didn't say what to cover or the schedule, ask.
