Create a Grading Rubric

    Help me build a rubric for an assignment.

Please build a rubric with:
- Clear **criteria** covering what actually matters for this assignment (content, skills, mechanics — whatever fits), not filler categories.
- **Performance levels** with specific, observable descriptors for each — so a student (and another teacher) could tell the levels apart without guessing.
- Descriptors written in **plain, concrete language** appropriate to the grade level, describing what the work looks like, not just "excellent / poor."
- A total that adds up, if I asked for points.

Keep it usable — enough detail to grade fairly and consistently, not so much it's unwieldy. Base the criteria on the assignment and priorities I gave you. This is a draft for me to adjust to my expectations. If the assignment is unclear, ask before building the rubric.
