Prompt
Help me brainstorm original story ideas.
What I'm starting from (a theme, image, premise, "what if," or just a genre I want to write in):
{{seed}}
Genre and audience: {{genre_and_audience}}
Anything to include or avoid (tone, setting, must-haves, no-gos): {{constraints}}
How many ideas I want: {{number_of_ideas}}
Please:
- Give me distinct concepts — each genuinely different from the others, not variations on one idea.
- For each, write a **one-line logline** (protagonist + goal + obstacle + what's at stake) plus a sentence or two on what makes it fresh.
- Lean toward the surprising and specific over the generic; avoid the most obvious clichés of the genre.
- Note which one or two you find most promising and why, but leave the choice to me.
These are springboards for me to develop, not finished stories. Aim for originality — don't recycle the plot of a well-known existing work or imitate a specific author's premise. If my seed is too vague to spark good ideas, ask me one quick question first.
