SingleStore's MCP server connects clients such as Claude Desktop, Cursor and VS Code to SingleStore through the Management API, providing tools, resources and prompt templates rather than tools alone. An agent can list tables, execute custom SQL, and pull detailed table information including schema and sample rows. Its most distinctive tool generates Mermaid ER diagrams straight from the live schema — a fast way to hand a model, or a person, the shape of a database it has never seen.
