The official DataHub MCP server, from Acryl Data, gives an agent direct access to metadata about a data ecosystem — searching across all entity types with wildcard, field and boolean filters, fetching metadata for any entity, traversing lineage upstream and downstream, and listing the SQL queries associated with a dataset. That last capability is the useful one for generation: an agent can read how a table is actually queried before writing new SQL against it. Supports DataHub OSS self-hosted and a managed server on DataHub Cloud.
