Confluent's MCP server connects agents to Confluent Cloud, Confluent Platform and standalone Apache Kafka, covering more than 50 tools across Kafka topics, Flink SQL statements, Schema Registry, connectors and Tableflow — enough to create, manage and monitor streaming infrastructure through natural language instead of the CLI. The Node and TypeScript implementation supports http, sse and stdio transports with stdio as the default, and Confluent Cloud additionally offers managed MCP servers for teams that would rather not run it themselves.
