Apache IoTDB's MCP server provides database interaction and business-intelligence access to the time-series database used for industrial IoT telemetry, letting an agent run SQL against sensor data. One detail decides your setup: IoTDB has two SQL dialects, Tree Model and Table Model, and the server exposes a different tool set for each depending on whether IOTDB_SQL_DIALECT is set to tree or table. It exposes tools only — no resources or prompts.
