Aiven's MCP server lets an agent manage the managed data services Aiven runs — PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, ClickHouse and OpenSearch among them — listing projects and services and searching Aiven's own documentation in natural language. It runs against Aiven's hosted MCP endpoint or locally via npx. Aiven itself flags the risk worth repeating: the server can create, modify and DELETE services and data on your behalf, and an agent may take destructive action on its own reading of an ambiguous prompt — so scope the token accordingly.
