WOZCODE is a plugin for Claude Code rather than a competitor to it — an unusual position for a developer tool, and one that makes its claims comparatively easy to check, since the baseline is the same agent without it.

The pitch is economic rather than functional. Rather than new capabilities, it offers the same work at lower token usage and higher speed, on the argument that the binding constraint for heavy users is the session limit rather than the model's ability. It runs alongside Claude Code and in VS Code, with no signup required for individual use.

The company reports 80% on TerminalBench 2.0 against 69% for Claude Code alone, 30–40% faster on most tasks, and a 25–50% cost reduction. Those are vendor benchmarks published by the vendor, and worth verifying against your own workload.
