Ryan Deiss
Founder of DigitalMarketer, which built much of the standard vocabulary and certification path for digital marketing practitioners.
About Ryan Deiss
Ryan Deiss founded DigitalMarketer, a training company whose influence on the field is mostly structural: it turned a set of loosely held practices into named frameworks, taught them in a consistent order, and issued certifications against them. A large number of working marketers learned the discipline in its terms.
The most durable of those frameworks is the customer value journey — the staged path from a stranger's first awareness through to advocacy, with a defined job at each stage. Its usefulness is diagnostic rather than clever: it makes the missing stage in a funnel visible, which is usually why the funnel is not working.
DigitalMarketer's training and lab membership are the vehicle for the material collected here.
