Eliah Scripts

Eliah writes scripts for educational YouTube channels and teaches the framework he uses on client work, including for vidIQ. He is based on the east coast of Australia and describes the channel deliberately as unpolished — no fast cutting to hold attention, on the theory that the writing should be doing that job.

The framework starts with research, which he argues is where nearly every creator goes wrong: without knowing a specific audience's pains, desires and goals, no amount of structure saves the video. He splits it into audience research and content research and uses AI to compress the first into a short pass rather than an afternoon.

From there it covers hook formulas and the psychology behind why they work, a repeatable structure he credits with 60% retention, a two-step storytelling process, and the binge loop — building the end of one video into the start of the next to lift average view duration across a channel.
