Notice your breathing — the gentle rise and fall that happens all by itself. As you let your attention rest on your breathing, you can become absorbed in the detail of your perception. You don't have to make any effort. Thoughts just happen all by themselves. Trance does too.

Simply experience your own perceptions and feelings. Enjoy whatever changes happen as you relax. Your unconscious will take you just as far into trance as is right for you right now.

Focus your attention on your breathing. My voice will go with you. Allow yourself to become more and more absorbed in the life and energy of your own body and mind.

Start counting backward from 300. 300... 299... 298... 297...

It doesn't matter if you get lost or leave a bit out or forget. Just start again in about the same place. Notice that you only realize you lost your place when you return momentarily before becoming more absorbed again.

As long as that part of your mind is active, it's fine if it counts. When it doesn't count, that's fine too. You don't need to listen consciously — your unconscious will hear all you need to hear.

Notice where you feel the most comfort in your body. Let that feeling spread all around — from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. As you relax even more deeply, you might find you feel good. Really good. In so many ways. Enjoying the process of learning new ways to enjoy life.
