Stability's current generation is Stable Diffusion 3.5, in Large (highest quality and prompt adherence), Turbo (faster) and Medium (balancing quality against customisation) variants, with SDXL and SDXL Turbo still available. Stability also offers hosted editing services — erase, inpaint, outpaint, background removal, recolour and upscale. The reason to choose it over a hosted frontier model is unchanged: these are weights you can download, fine-tune and run yourself.
